Detox Kitchen

2020 Rebrand

December 2019

  • Brand guidelines
  • Branding, typographic treatment
  • Art and photography direction
  • Social media assets - graphics and animation
  • POS, packaging, signage
  • Brick-and-mortar applications
  • Web design

In autumn 2019 I was approached by the founder of health food company Detox Kitchen, Lily Simpson, who had seen my photography work for Atelier September in Copenhagen on Instagram. She presented to me the next evolution of the brand that she had in mind, and wanted my help to bring that vision to life.

Over a three-month period, I worked closely with the in-house marketing team to develop a new set of branding, creative direction and all accompanying internal and marketing materials and assets. This included menus, packaging, web, signage, calendars, programmes and many, many animated GIFs, as well as consulting over the creative and social media strategy moving forward.

This next chapter was scheduled to launch in early 2020, however due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic which proved difficult for brick-and-mortar businesses, this “evolution” was instead converted into a new direction for the existing Detox Kitchen brand and their focus became their meal delivery service. The rebrand lives on as their current branding across their online presence and products today.
